On October 3rd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. we are going to be hosting a friends and family day for people in our community. This will be similar to the community picnic we did a couple of years ago. To prepare for this event we need a lot of help.
1. We need games. We need people that will come up with and help us run a game. If you do not want to make up a game but are willing to help rent a bounce house or dunking booth or something, please let Derek know. We will put a sign up list on the bulletin board. Please sign up for what game you are going to do. Please try not to duplicate a game somebody else is already doing. If you cannot come up with a game but are willing to help run a game please get with people that sign up and ask if you can help.
2. We need people to run the welcome station. This is where we will hand out tickets for food and gather contact information. Please sign up on the board if you are willing to run the welcome station.
3. Food. We are going to have hotdogs and nachos. We will need help prepping food, help grilling, and help serving. If you can help with any of these thing please also sign up in the foyer.
4. Friends and Family. We need you, your friends, and your family to come and take part of this wonderful day together. Bring your family, Invite your friends. Invite the person you meet at the grocery store. This is a community outreach event. This is a great opportunity for our church family to reach out to those in our community.
